AGA provides expert evaluation of development opportunities for various forms of retail development—neighborhood centers, community/power centers, regional centers, outlet centers, and entertainment retail.
AGA's retail approach relies on statistical data describing taxable sales and trade area demographics to identify expenditure potential by major retail store groups. Multiple data sources including the economic Census, State Board of Equalization, ESRI demographic data, and local growth trends drive a model simulation of consumer demand for up to 132 distinct storefront activities, including expenditure potential for major forms of retail anchor activity. Our statistical-based demand model is integrated with empirical supply data collected from an in-field audit of the trade area to identify opportunities for new retail development or repositioning the tenant mix of an existing center.
Clients who utilize our services to assist them in the development or purchase of retail properties include ICI Development, Mother’s Market & Kitchen, BRE Properties, and Irvine Retail Properties. A number of local agencies for which we have identified site development potential include City of La Habra, City of Fountain Valley, City of Costa Mesa, City of Cathedral City, City of Hanford, and City of Lake Forest.
